Cambodia is a relatively virgin mining area in ASEAN, with good upside, low cost of production and strong political stability. Infrastructure needs to be developed. The Nearest Port is Sihanoukville 120kms from the concession area.
The Concession Area is 190 Sq Kms. A 5 Sq Km mineralized area has been identified as a target for DSO with a target resource of 33 Million tons
The mineralization is in form of boulder deposits formed by residual and mechanical concentration process. The area consists of unconsolidated boulders magnetite deposit of Precambrian age. The mineralization occurs within Banded Magnetite Quartzite (BMQ). On either side of the mineralization zone, quartzite is found to occur.
